- Space Angels Network
Space Angels Network is a national network of seed- and early-stage investors focused on aerospace-related ventures. We are interested in hearing from SBIR/STTR Phase I and Phase II applicants and grantees that 1) are serious about commercializing their technologies, as demonstrated by a solid management team, business plan, intellectual property position, dual use markets, and risk management approach, and 2) that seek seed- or early-stage equity investors who understand the complex technical, regulatory and market environment that many aerospace-related startups face. Strong companies that apply for, but are not selected to receive SBIR/STTR grant funding from federal S&T agencies, are also welcome to apply. Dual use applications and markets of particular interest for us include platforms (aviation & space vehicles, components/subsystems, sensors, etc), related IT applications (geospatial data, imagery, GPS, location-based services, sensor fusion, software systems, etc), clean tech (aviation biofuels, carbon footprint & environmental monitoring, etc), advanced materials, and manufacturing, among others.
