JCTD Execution Courses at Ft Belvoir, Virginia, Defense Acquisition University:
Schedule: The next JCTD training opportunity will be 4-6 March 2014.
Course Description: This course provides an overview of the JCTD process with an emphasis on execution. Students have an opportunity to receive the latest information on the JCTD Program from successful Oversight Executives, Technical, Operational, and Transition Managers. Topics include the latest guidance for the JCTD Program Office, roles of the technical, operational and transition managers, available support for JCTD teams, and JCTD funding and financial management.

Rapid Innovation Fund (RIF)
The Rapid Innovation Fund provides a vehicle for small businesses to provide the department with innovative technologies that can be rapidly inserted into acquisition programs that meet specific defense needs. RIF is administered jointly by the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Assistant Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (ASD R&E) and Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). DoD will issue solicitations annually, titled Rapid Innovation Fund (RIF) Broad Agency Announcements (BAA).
