- Leads acquisition oversight for DoD Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) and associated subsystems including control stations, sensors and communications-links within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for AT&L. Major acquisition programs include:

- Multi Platform Radar Technology Insertion Program (MP-RTIP)
- MQ-4C Triton UAS
- NATO Alliance Ground Sensor (AGS)
- MQ-9A Reaper UAS
- MQ-1B Predator UAS
- MQ-8C Fire Scout Vertical Takeoff UAV (VTUAV)
- RQ-7B Shadow UAS
- One System Remote Video Terminal (OSRVT) and Remote Operated Video Enhanced Receivers (ROVERs)
- MQ-1C Gray Eagle UAS
- Unmanned Combat Air System Demonstration
- Functional lead for the Office of the Secretary of Defense UAS Task Force
- Functional oversight for maritime and terrestrial unmanned program
- Leads or serves on special committees that address issues pertaining to unmanned program and associated capabilities

Mr. Dyke Weatherington is the Director, Unmanned Warfare & Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (UW & ISR), Strategic and Tactical Systems in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics and the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Acquisition. He is responsible for acquisition oversight of Department of Defense Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and manned ISR aircraft systems.
