Are you considering doing business with the Department of Defense (DoD) or other businesses in the defense sector, but you're afraid of losing your IP? If you're a current DoD contractor or a DoD program, are you encountering IP obstacles in a DoD acquisition? The DoD is tackling the hard questions and challenges facing both industry and the Government regarding IP in DoD Acquisitions.
The DoD IP Cadre cordially invites you to join us for the first ever DoD IP Forum on December 6-8 in Arlington, VA. This multi-day industry-Government event is open to the public on December 6 and 7, including the defense industrial base, nontraditional DoD contractors, and academia.
The planned agenda includes keynotes from senior leaders from OSD; various presentations from DoD programs; and solutions-oriented discussions with industry. The agenda also includes training and presentations tailored for a Government-only audience on December 8th. The forum focuses on engagement between the DoD acquisition workforce and industry partners to address key IP challenges, including early IP planning and strategies for DoD lifecycle needs, and negotiation of tailored licenses.
