The Defense Pricing, Contracting, and Acquisition Policy (DPCAP) Contract Policy (CP) Directorate is the focal point for developing new, innovative acquisition tools and practices and improving existing DoD acquisition policies. CP responsibilities include recommending simpler, more flexible ways to buy supplies and services for the warfighter, and ensuring that contract formation and contract administration are in compliance with law, in the government's best interest, and fair and equitable to industry.
Contract Policy ensures acquisition contracts and other transactions provide best value, satisfy warfighter needs, and comply with applicable law and regulation. Information on Contracting workforce development, AbilityOne, Interagency Contracting and many other topics are here.
