The Strategic, Space, and Intelligence Portfolio Management office manages, analyzes, and informs acquisition and resourcing decisions in information and integration portfolios, to include nuclear weapons systems; nuclear command, control, and communications (NC3); missile defense; command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4/ISR); and space systems.

The Platform and Weapon Portfolio Management office uses Capability Portfolio Management to analyze, manage, and inform acquisition and resourcing decisions in platform and weapon portfolios, to include air, surface, and electronic warfare systems.

The Acquisition Integration and Interoperability (AI2) Office was established in January 2023 to build an enduring acquisition infrastructure for seamlessly delivering joint, system-of-systems capabilities. Partnering across OSD, the Joint Staff, and the Military Departments and Military Services, Al2 will provide mission management through dedicated system-of-systems analysis to create innovative ways to deliver joint capabilities and influence resourcing recommendations across the department.

Defense Pricing, Contracting, and Acquisition Policy is responsible for all pricing, contracting, and procurement policy matters, including e-Business, in the Department of War.

Defense Acquisition University is DoW's learning platform connecting all 183,000 professionals in the Defense Acquisition Workforce and provides the classroom and online learning, on-the-job resources, and acquisition program consulting resources needed to support DoW leadership objectives and adapt to the rapidly evolving acquisition environment.

The Defense Contract Management Agency performs Contract Administration Services and Contingency Contract Administration Services for the Department of War, other authorized Federal Agencies, foreign governments, international organizations, and others as authorized.

The Acquisition Enablers office is the lead for enabling innovative acquisition approaches that deliver warfighting capability at the speed of relevance by creating, training, and implementing the Adaptive Acquisition Framework and supporting the development of data-driven decision making.
