On July 14, 2020, DoD, GSA, and NASA published in the Federal Register at 85 FR 42665 the interim FAR rule 2019-009, Prohibition on Contracting With Entities Using Certain Telecommunications and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment.

      The interim rule implements prohibitions contained in section 889(a)(1)(B) of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2019, and makes amendments to the following FAR clauses, which become effective on August 13, 2020.
