Energy, Installations and Environment Governance
Energy, Installations and Environment (EI&E) has developed a governance structure to execute business capabilities, business and investment management, and business transformation oversight responsibilities in accordance with10 USC 2222
. The BSI Directorate provides EI&E governance support for the Deputy Chief Management Officers (DCMO’s) Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA) and through the EI&E Functional Business Governance Board (FBGB).
The BSI Directorate supports OASD (EI&E)’s delegated authority from ASD(EI&E) regarding activities of the Defense Business Council and in compliance with the DCMO’s Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA) for all real property, installation management, environment, safety and energy management business areas under the purview of the OASD (EI&E).
The BSI Directorate supports EI&E Information Technology (IT) management and business process improvement, interoperability in EI&E IT capabilities and ensures that EI&E business information has the data quality necessary for effective enterprise-wide decision making.
