Functions

-Lead development and improvement of DoD policy, federal regulations, and program support governing Operational Contract Support (OCS), Private Security Contractors (PSC), Vendor Threat Mitigation, contractor planning, management and execution in support of combat, humanitarian, and disaster relief operations.

-Co-Chair and lead activities of the DoD OCS governance forum (OCS Functional Capabilities Integration Board).

-Ensure integration of OCS capability and related activities across other joint capability areas and joint warfighting functions.

-Adopt and monitor enterprise-wide performance measures to promote and improve OCS business practices, implementation, and execution.

-Serve as the DoD lead for contractor personnel visibility and accountability processes, system requirements, and reporting..

-Lead governance and resourcing efforts in support of OCS business tools and processes.

-Identify, develop and oversee establishment of OCS human capital/competencies.

-Provide oversight of OCS training and education development for OCS workforce professionals.
