DOD OCS ACTION PLAN
Since 2013, the DoD Operational Contract Support Action Plan has served as a strategic guide to establish OCS as an enduring DoD-wide capability.
As part of the Total Force (U.S. military, DoD civilians, and contractors), contracted support has and will continue to play a vital role in the success of decisive military operations; train-advise-assist missions; counter-terrorism operations; and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
The Fiscal Year 2018-2022 DoD OCS Action Plan builds on previous plans and defines new tasks that must be addressed by the members of the Functional Capabilities Integration Board (FCIB) to achieve the desired vision for OCS. Over the past ten years the DoD OCS FCIB, Congress, and the Government Accountability Office (GAO) have monitored and assessed the Department's progress and plans to improve delivery of OCS capability across DoD. With the continued support and commitment of DoD senior leaders and OCS stakeholders, the annual DoD Action Plan will continue to serve as the Department's guide to OCS integration.
